Long Island outlet is home to immersive pop-up shop
The Tanger Outlets, in Riverhead, New York, is home to an immersive pop-up retail experience that gives consumers a rotating brand experience every 90 days.
The pop-up, called R/Evolution, aims to "flip retail on its head," according to a press release, and is a collaboration between experiential marketing companies CS Hudson and International Retail Management and Connulting Group.
It is the first of several pop-up experiences that will launch at mall owner Simon Property Group by year’s end.
The first brands to participate include TatBrow, Tangle Angel, TRU Niagen, Swiss Relief, Fingernails2go, MYTAGALONGS, Because I Am A Girl, Instant Effects, Ornaments for Opportunity and CB-Dadi’ Oil. For eight of the brands, it is their worldwide launch into physical retail, according to the release.
The 2,500-square-foot R|Evolution provides a complete pop-up —from installing the entire shop, staging merchandise, tracking results, and providing brand ambassadors able to educate the consumer, create excitement and sell product.
